Customer Review: A GOOD EARLY GAME
motorstorm is a good start for an off road game for the ps3 but needs improving in a few areas. this game has good graphics and pretty good physics and controls so initially you know you have bought a good handling off road game but…. when you get to level 4 races and above things degenerate into other cars just trying to smash you up no matter if it costs them the race or not.some dubious crashes dont help for example i was travelling at 15 mph and got hit into a rock and my car exploded into a shower of bolts exactly the same as it does when im doing 100 mph, that’s not good.level 4 and upwards is basically a chore and chores aren’t fun. online is really good, nice and smooth but if your a casual online gamer prepare to get slaughtered,if you practice online for hours and that’s your thing you will be fine. all in all the good outweighs the bad,for all the good graphics the loading times are really slow, for all the good physics the a.i. goes mental from level 4 onwards and so on and so on but its still worth a punt for 15 pounds preowned!
Customer Review: Weird…but it is actually OK…I like it. Or do I?
There seem to be two main tracks, one good and one that makes you cringe! The good one is a sort of rap pop…thing, without words. The bad one is…eeuurggghhhhhh! It is too bad for words! It’s a sort of intense rock piece of crud. The words (or should I say the ‘word’) are just repeated over and over again: “kieaa, kieaa, kieaa, kiaee, mastermanteey!” AARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Now for the actual game. Weird and awful and boring, but somehow, it works. It is weird because: girls butts stick out like pillows. It is awful because: you’re bike blows up and flips over because you hit a small bump. It is boring because: it is unoriginal and nothing happens… and I still like it. Why? I don’t know, but if you like weirdos on motorbikes and one moment good, another moment, bad music then get Motorstorm. I you don’t like that stuff then don’t: there’s too much of it for any of that malarkey. So if you want a simple answer, there isn’t really one to give, but the shortest way of saying this is this is rubbish, but if you enjoy laughing you’re head off at weird crud, get it anyway! It’s awful. Okay, so that may have confused you, but that’s as simple as I can make it I’m afraid. If you like stupidly weird, get it. If not, don’t. Now even I’m confused…so if anyone says it’s fantastic, don’t listen to them, but anyone says that it’s awful, don’t listen to them either… This is a bit complicated…but anyway, I’m tired. I’ve written four reviews tonight. Bye.

Customer Review: This cable should have come with the Playstation, why so expensive!?
This cable works brilliantly and was instantly picked up by my Playstation, I have plenty of cable to spare so it is definitely long enough, my only complaints are why so expensive? I paid ?17.99 for this product and in my opinion this is too much for something that should be provided with the console! Thanks Sony!!!
Customer Review: Looks brilliant
The cable was instantly picked up by my PS3 and it worked brilliantly. The pictures look great. Very cheap- Good Buy
Commandos 2: Men of Courage (PS2) Taking third-person action and strategy to new heights, Commandos 2 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox is a great example of how to tackle the real-time strategy genre properly. Set over 10 missions in theatres of war across the globe, this is no place for gung-ho grunts. Care and thought are required in huge amounts before a shot is fired or the might of half the German army will descend and drill you full of holes–not a pleasant thought.
From the word go this game is hard. Very hard. Rarely does it cut you any slack; one wrong move and it’s game over. Initially this can be very irritating, but persevere and Commandos 2 is a real gem. The game’s designers have thought of just about everything when it comes to running, crawling, tip-toeing and creeping past the enemy–there are around 100 very short tutorial missions designed to introduce the control system and the various vehicle, weapon and stealth techniques available to the player, and these alone will take a couple of hours to play through; skipping them is a really bad idea if you want the best from this title.
In addition to wandering around on foot, a wide variety of vehicles can be commandeered and driven around (usually badly). Tanks can be used as offensive weapons, and boats are available for water-based missions. All of this Nazi-busting malarkey is brought to you by a squad of combatants including six commandos, each with their own special ability, a female member of the French Resistance, a dog and a rat (!), which makes for interesting gaming indeed.
Its relatively slow pace will put many folks off, but stick with it you’ll find that and Commandos 2 is one of the best RTS games to hit consoles to date. –Chris Russell
Customer Review: Fun but to confusing !
This game is good but way to confusing. Nowonder why there is such a huge tutorial. You will need a big guide to complete the first three missions. Worth the money but unless who are extreemly patient keep away from this game!
Customer Review: the best strategy game for PS2
Mission 1, I thought, would be simple. Wrong! I reach La Rochelle, the German submarine base by boat. I look for a safe place to go on land. Forget checking for mines. Wham! Game over. So now, I’m more careful. Once past the mines, it turns out I’m still outside the submarine base… I learn that I must use my map. So I go back to the water and swim towards a different landing spot. Once out of the water, I crawl towards a building (better be quiet). Unfortunately I immediately enter the building instead of first checking for German soldiers by peeking through the window. There’s just one souldier inside, but he sounds the alarm, and even though I try to escape by leaving the building, his fellow soldiers are there already … Game Over. So now, after reloading the game, I’m even more careful. I enter the building when the guard has his back turned towards the door. In a room, I talk to a imprisoned rebel. I leave him behind, but take his well trained dog with me. Unfortunately, I’m a bit reckless: a guard patrolling the corridor sees me and immediately starts shooting. Game over! When will I learn? In the trials that follow, I manage to locate the Enigma machine, but can see no way of entering the barracks. Then I realise that maybe I should consult my notebook. Inside, I find the clue: I must contact Natasha. She’ll help … But where is Natasha?….
Commandos 2 offers fantastic gameplay: the visuals are impressive and the enemy AI is just amazing. Controls, some say, are too complex, but hey, this is a complex game, so what do you expect? There are just two legitimate complaints, in my humble opinion: first, the loading time is quite long and second, the icons showing which skills and weapons are available are hard to recognise, and therefor you’ll be paging through the manual quite often, trying to find out what a particular icon will do.
Production values are great, the sound and music is a joy, and there are enough missions to keep you coming back to this game for months!

Game Boy Advance Console - Black
The Game Boy Advance features power that would have been unthinkable back when the original Game Boy was launched. Its 32-bit RISC CPU runs circles around the former machine’s 8-bit workhorse, allowing it to process program instructions much faster. What that means to everyday gamers is more intricate visuals, more simultaneous movement on the screen, and better sound. In fact, the often-annoying bleeps and bloops of old-school Game Boy titles are being replaced with digitised stereo sound. When you first pick up the system, you’ll notice how lightweight it is. It’s a little less than 150 grams, but a little larger than a deck of playing cards. The GBA’s wider shape fits better into a wider range of hands, and the screen is fitted with antiglare technology–you need pretty good light to play by, but you won’t be craning your neck and tilting the unit to see around the reflection of the light bulb in your screen.
You’ll also notice the graphics. Essentially sporting redesigned SNES technology, you’ll see things on the GBA that the big consoles do, such as scaling (making objects larger or smaller) and rotation effects–technological advances that will affect the look of everything from crossing a finish line to scoring a goal to crawling through a dungeon. The extra processing muscle also means you can network up to four Game Boy Advance units together, via the communication cable, for multiplayer fun from one shared cartridge. Because the Game Boy Advance system is backward-compatible, it will play not only its own line of colourful games–including such launch titles as Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, and Kuru Kuru Kurin–but also almost all of the monochrome and colour games that have already been released for the previous Game Boy systems. It seems that Nintendo have wisely struck a balance between size, price, and power consumption. And considering how well the old 8-bit system weathered the decade’s technological storms, the Game Boy Advance seems here to stay. –Porter B Hall
Customer Review: Game Boy Advance - Nintendo
The GBA was the handheld console I was eagerly awaiting and it is a good console - as long as you have enough light around you for the great graphics. The ocnsole is good but you can’t use it at night :(. Therefore I suggest you pay a bit more for the SP which features a backlight. Other than that good console, good games.
Customer Review: The BEST games console - EVER!
Yup, you heard me right - this is the best games console EVER - and here’s why. First lets look at the make up of this thing. It’s small and light (The same size as a gameboy color.) and will run for near on twenty hours off two AA baterys! (Plus the conveniant led will turn red and fade out when it’s time to change them - you’ll never run out of power in the middle of the last levle again!) The screen is nice and big and, despite some complaints on this page, eaisy to veiw as long as your in good light (It’s only the same as with previous gameboys!) The buttons are placed perfectly and the new R and L controls add extra playability and work a treat! Heres the crunch - the GBA is a snes - but you can take it anywhere! Plus you get all the best SNES games for it plus new ones which take advantage of the ten years or so extra learning time for developers! (AND you get saga titles - the compleatpicture!) Most people agree that the snes is a landmark in gameing history - well this is better! forget the bulky next gen consoles - they only foucus on graphics and many games are no fun at all! travle back to the 16 bit era with GBA - PLUS new tecnology means that the GBA should be expecting some games with near on PS1 quality graphics any time soon! a snes, a ps1 all in your pocket. With the TV DE ADVANCE coming soon (alowing you to play gba with a TV SCREEN!) WHAT could be better?
