Customer Review: Works on PC very well!!
This is indeed the DFP, even though amazon’s title says just DF. I used the G25 drivers on the logitech website for my PC. Works beautifully!! I don’t know why logitech doesn’t advertise this as a PC wheel. 900 degrees of rotation takes a bit getting used to. You can set it anywhere between 40-900 degrees under game controller setup in windows. Lots of buttons on the wheels, but not paddle shifters. Its more like paddle buttons, but I like to use the stick shifter instead. I had a Nascar Thrustmaster Force previously, and the DFP is much better at producing FFB effects. In fact, I had to tone it down because it was strong at default settings. Its also a tad smaller than my previous wheel so I have more space on my desk to mount it. The brake and gas pedals also have different spring tensions which makes it a little more realistic. The gears still make a lot of noise as with the Thrustmaster when turning, but its definitely smoother. I don’t feel the ‘notchiness’ of the gears. Playing GT2, GTL, LFS, and Richard Burns Rally with it.

I don’t have a PS2, but from the reviews it should work great also.

Customer Review: Great Fun
Fight night is the ultimate boxing game on the PS3. The graphics are fantastic, the sounds are great and most importantly, the game play is brilliant. You can create your own boxer to use in an offline multiplayer battle, play multiplayer (off and online) and you can complete a career with a boxer; whether it be your own or an existing boxing star. For 35 quid (or in the region of 25 on ebay) you cant really go wrong. Buy it now.
Customer Review: A slight problem for left handers
I bought this game a few months ago. I don’t have an HDTV but that didn’t matter as the graphics are awesome. Skin textures are fabulous too and the in ring camera brings you closer into the match. From my title if you’re left handed i would not recommend this game to you as you need to use the right analog stick to throw the punches and this cannot be changed. I took Fight Night 3 back for this reason as my brother is left handed and it took 3 moves to knock him out. If you have purchased a Fight Night before on the ps2 i urge you to buy this but if you have Fight Night 3 on the PSP you may find the game too easy like me and be number 1 within 2 hours.

Customer Review: I like it, but it’s not quite as good as I thought it would be
As my title says, I did enjoy this game but am kinda disappointed by it. After hearing about the great reviews it got & a ex gf of mine saying it was really good I decided to buy it. So let’s move onto reviweing the different elements of the game. Graphically, it’s a nice game with graphic novel (aka cell shaded) graphics & I like the designs for the agency pistol & assault rifle & it makes a nice change since I’m more use to Bioshock, Lost Planet, Gears Of War etc in those terms. Gameplay wise, it is a lot like other sandbox genre games in terms of shooting but there is the ability of being able to leap great distances like The Incredible Hulk which is quite easy to get to grips with, only negative point is that being able to leap 30 feet across the city in a single bound makes simple jumps quite tricky sometimes & sometimes guns would lock onto vehicles or dead bodies which doesn’t help much. The presentation is nice, the boxart is quite ok to look at & the manual is as another review mentions done like a hand manual which I always quite like as it makes you feel more part of the game, but this game has a big problem with involvement which I’ll get onto shortly. Storyline, is well, about 0.01% existent. It is as simple as kill bad guys to make city safe, your agent has no story or past except that he’s there to crush gang members with guns, his foot & the odd car or so if you feel like it. So unfortunately having an instruction manual that reads like you are the agent rather than a gamer is a bit pointless in a game that doesn’t really involve you in a story. Lifespan is short, shorter than I expected it to be. I recieved it yesterday & completed it today & I wasn’t even that good at it sometimes & spent a lot of time messing about. It didn’t help that I managed to take down one of the last generals in a space of a few minutes & killed very few guards & just knocked him over with a kick & stomped on him till he was dead like most the other ones. I would have also liked to have seen more than 3 agency weapons, I would have liked an agency sniper rifle & rocket launcher at least. Having completed it, I’ve realised how much I’ve missed games like The Darkness, Bioshock, Gears Of War & even Halo 3. Sure, I’ll play this again from time to time but it won’t be something I’ll be really playing like I would other games. So in a nutshell, not a bad game it just is a bit disappointing & not quite as good as a filler I thought it would be, it’s gonna be a while before I fire it up again.
Customer Review: Fun while it lasts… it doesn’t last long
This is an entertaining enough game but lacks any real depth. Once the 21 bosses have been wiped out, an achievement that should have been more challenging, there is little reason to return to the game. The final ‘twist’ is poor too and makes little sense. A good bargain bin title.

Medal of Honor: Airborne (Xbox 360)
It may be the game that popularised the whole concept of first person shoot `em-ups set during World War II, but as the years have gone by, the Medal of Honor series has found itself besieged by more and more copycats trying to offer ever more realistic simulations of the era. This is the first Medal of Honor game made specifically for the next generation of consoles though and finds you taking the roles of both pathfinder Eddie La Point and Private Boy Travers - paratroopers in the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division. As such, you’ll end up with a whistle stop tour of enemy hotspots in Sicily, France, Holland and Germany. The game takes its paratrooper motif serious too as the game levels are big enough that you actually have some control over where exactly you land and as a consequence what tactics you choose to employ.

The game also tries to give you as much freedom as possible with the weapons you use, with each being customisable with authentic parts which you can find during missions. Even the missions are as open ended as possible, as you’re given up to a dozen objectives, of which only a few have to be tackled in any sort of order. One side benefit this creates is that the developers have been forced to drastically improve the enemy artificial intelligence so that they can react intelligently to your attacks, instead of just relying on the pre-scripted movements of the earlier games. There’s also a stronger tactical element than ever before as you monitor the back and forth of battle between all the forces on the map. As over-familiar as WWII shooters have become, there looks to be enough new ideas here to keep even the most jaded virtual soldier happy.

Customer Review: Not everything it claimed to be or could’ve been.
In general terms, this is an entertaining WWII shooter with impressive graphics and atmospheric sound, as well as authentic Second World War settings. However, where it goes wrong is precisely where it has tried to be innovative… I was under the impression (from the trailer here on Amazon) that different approaches could be used to complete the same objective (ie assault a gun emplacement or, instead, destroy it’s ammo, or destroy it’s targeting radar). I was wrong. Every single objective must be completed (although not in a specific order), involving going somewhere and planting a bomb, then going somewhere else and planting another bomb etc. The weapons upgrading also sounded great, earning new parts for your guns as your skill increases. But unlocking the add-ons isn’t nearly as compelling as it seems and several of them are more annoying than useful. The parachuting, which is supposed to let you pick where you go into the fighting is also next to useless. Your options are pretty much a) land at the pre-assigned green smoke area or b) land anywhere else and die instantly from the German you can’t fight back at for 5-20 seconds. There’s not that much range in adjusting your landing anyway. Another good idea wasted. Rather than a squad to command, there are now simply groups of allied troops charging around. However, these clumps of men are seemingly random meaning that sometimes you’ll have plenty of support (with appalling AI) and at other times you’ll have none. The MOH team should’ve learned a thing or two from those behind the ‘Battlefield’ and ‘Brothers in Arms’ franchises. The enemy are one of the worst elements of the game. They are literally endless, respawning continuously until you complete the objective in that area. This means that there can be no tactics, stealth or patience in your combat style, since waiting for that perfect shot will just allow another five Germans to appear out of nowhere. However, the grand prize for letting this game down goes to it being really, really short. I completed it in three days. Three days! A pretty big let-down overall, I can only hope that ‘Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway’ doesn’t disappoint so badly.
Customer Review: Great but short-lived
I have to agree with Diddly Dai. I rushed out to buy this game after playing the demo and although I spent a thoroughly enjoyable weekend playing the game, that’s all it took to complete it. That includes replaying certain missions to upgrade every weapon in the game and finding the Mauser, which incidentally is in a safe in the control room near the rail gun on mission 5. (Find the flashing red box on the safe and press A to plany a charge). I expected this game to have infinite replay value and although I am still playing it on and off after a couple of weeks I think I’ve about had enough now! The online multiplayer is pretty poor really. Small maps, no co-op mission mode. Not a patch on Rainbow Six. One other thing that’s been annoying me. I have been trying to achieve the medals for completing all 6 missions with 5* on casual and there does not seem to be any criteria for acieving 5*. First run through of the whole game, I got 5* on every level, no matter how many times I died or did something stupid while I was familiarising myself with the controls. Except on Operation Market Garden where I got 4* but was the only mission I completed without dying. I have now played this mission about 20 times until I can sail through it really quickly, never die, get nothing but headshots and I can take the tanks out with only 1 or 2 Gammon Grenades but I now keep getting 3*. I just don’t get it. The last mission, which is ridiculously hard and confusing as to where your objectives are, I died a dozen times and took well over an hour to complete on first run through but it gave me 5*!!! Makes no sense. So if you want a game that’s going to last and give you forty quid’s worth, buy something else and wait until this drops in price (probably after Call of Duty 4 is released). Personally, I’m trading my copy in tomorrow for Halo 3 and I’ve never been a big Halo fan but I reckon it’s got to have more longevity of play than this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game but very short-lived and feels more like an extension pack to previous MOH games. By the way, Diddly Dai, you can remove any upgrades, such as rifle scope or grenade launcher by pressing the Left Bumper button.

Customer Review: It’s so much quieter and cooler.
At first sight the 40GB model doesn’t seem good value when you can get the backwards compatability 60GB with two games for an extra ?50, but the 40GB model contains the newer 60nm cell chip which uses less power. The best thing about the new 40GB is that it is so very much quieter and throws out a lot less heat, my old 60GB used to get very hot, but worse than that it was way too noisy which could be distracting at times. If backwards compatability with the Playstation 2 is important to you then the 40GB won’t be any use to you. Me personally, I am very happy to sacrifice the BC and extra 20GB for the quieter cooler operation of the 40GB.
Customer Review: New PS3 entry level model
The first thing that will hit you about this model is the price. It’s lower. Usually these price drops come from economies of scale. Not here, it comes from stripping out features. Gone is the PS2 support, make no mistake, that’s a huge library of games now unavailable. Also gone is the card reader, not much of a loss there. Also lost is 20gb of space, which is a loss depending on if you intend to use this as a gaming machine or entertainment hub. Sony’s hand has been forced here because they had priced themselves out of the market and are firmly behind Wii and 360. So this is their answer. The upside for the consumer is that you can now play Blu-Ray and PS3 games at a lower price. You also get free online play unlike the 360 that will save you money in the long run. However the PS3 has stalled due to the lack of good games, cancelled games and constant delays. My advice to consumers would be wait to see if there is a further price drop and see if the ‘exclusive’ games are worth paying out this much for. There is little advantage from buying this model right now.
