The tony hawks games have all been real masterpieces… Except this one. This one is too focused on the realism and it loses touch with the skating. The numerous impossible missions that have been added only add to the frustration that this game produces. Definitely one of the worst Tony Hawks Games to date. Stick to American wasteland.
Customer Review: Buy SKATE instead!
I got this when it first came out, and enjoyed it for a few months. All the usual THPS features were there, along with the new “nail the trick feature,” giving you slow-mo control of the characters’ feet. As with most THPS games though, the challenges get repetitive and once you get the hang of it you can complete the game fairly easily. After getting SKATE a few months ago I have lost all interest in Project 8, finding it clunky and, to be honest, a bit boring. The level of detail and control is nowhere near SKATE and you don’t get nearly as much of a sense of achievement out of the whole thing. THPS9 better take the series to a whole new level otherwise it’s going to die a slow, undignified death.

Big Game Hunter (PS2) Customer Review: Mixed priorities?
I am as against hunting for sport as any right-minded person. It is cruel, unnecessary, and, in “the real world” at least, I would imagine, not very much fun at all.
But those of you slating this game for this reason alone are misguided, in my opinion. Anyone with such strong views (no matter how justified) as yours are unlikely to endorse this product by purchasing it, therefore you are not rating this item as a game as you have obviously not played it! Instead you are forcing your opinions and first impressions on to a page which is supposed to help people decide whether to purchase the game or not, and not to review their conscience.
No, I have not played the game. Yes, I see the hypocrasy of me criticising you for your unjustified, botched reviews. But think about this: whose lives do you value more? Humans or animals’?
I would imagine you would choose “humans”, or the “we are all equal” option. Fine. So how is “Big Game Hunter” any worse than The Suffering, Grand Theft Auto, or Call of Duty 3?
I love animals and would never want to hurt them in real life, but I think the thrill and satisfaction of a long and hard chase for your prey “brings us back to nature”, as it were, and is no different morally than killing your “prey” in Hitman: Blood Money.
I look forward to buying this game, as soon as a cheap copy arises on an unmentionable auction site!

I now own this game after many weeks of searching, this game is incredible when it comes to terms with the graphics.These graphics are highley detailed and stunning. The thing that lacks in this game is the gameplay.Once you have completed the Hunt Challenge there nothing much you can do.But overall this game is enjoyable to play.
