Customer Review: Interesting
My son and I both play this game. It is more challenging for me than it is him. We really enjoy it. It is a little harder than I thought it would be. I don’t recommend it for a small child because of the complexity. My son is 10 and hard enough for him.
Customer Review: The best Gameboy Advance game I have found.
This game is really fun. If you like pirates, all the better. You can do fights at sea on the Black Pearl or on land as Jack Sparrow. You navigate to different islands using Jack’s compass. There are small details that are important such as on the compass there is something to tell you which way the wind blows so that you will know which way your ship will move the fastest. Another of these little details is the characters you fight as Jack. It is challenging and different from other gameboy games. Sometimes it is more like a maze than a platform game. There are enough levels to keep you challenged and entertained for lots of play. I am 11 and even my older brother really likes this game.

e-Reader Pinball Value Cart
This pack of cards is for use with the Nintendo e-Reader accessory, which reads information from the cards and translates it into games for the Game Boy Advance system. This bundle comes with the following card packs:

  • Excitebike: Top cyclists from all over the world have gathered to test their skill and daring in the Excitebike World Championship–the first-ever motocross designer race. Riders must not only overcome the incredible dangers of motocross racing, they must design the winning or losing course. The anticipation in the air is apparent as the riders, with engines fired up, inch toward the starting line.
  • Tennis: It’s match point and your advantage. You drive a rocket serve to the far corner and rush the net. Your opponent makes a great return lob to the baseline. You scramble back and get off a crosscourt passing shot for the point and match. See if you have what it takes to be the ultimate pro!
  • Balloon Fight: The balloons are coming! They’re floating around carrying the enemy, who is armed with more ammo than plain hot air. The only thing to do is hop in your own balloon and counterattack. The balloon fight is on–raging over land and sea.
  • Pinball: From bumpers to flippers, all the action is here. Launch the pinball from the lane onto the table and rack up megapoints. Keep the ball on the table with two sets of flippers and score big by turning over cards, knocking out lights, and hitting as many bumpers as possible. There is even a secret Mario minigame to discover. With all the action of real pinball, this game is full-tilt fun.

Customer Review: Great when it arrives but gets repetative
If you get bored easily E-Reader is obviously for you. This pack contains classic games that are fun for the first 2 months but get repetative. Personally I believe this is better than purchasing NES games because it is probably cheaper and it is portable. Excitebikes level editor keeps the replay value pretty high. The racing mode is fun too. Best game in the set. Balloon Fight is exactly like JOUST if you have ever played it. The Journey mode gives the game a nice twist. Pinball doesnt have much. 1 table and 1 bonus round. Worst game in the set. Tennis is a stripped down Mario-Tennis clone. You run up to the ball, press A and hit it… Amazingly addicting actually. Every time you get bored of one game you can swipe to another…
Customer Review: Great if you like collecting and old Nintendo games
These cards are part of Nintendo’s latest accessory, the Card-e reader. The games in this set are Pinball, Balloon Fight, Tennis, and Excitebike. Using the E-reader (sold seperately), you can run the barcodes on the cards through it and then play the games the cards are based on. Other available NES games include Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Mario Bros., Ice Climber, Baseball, and Urban Champion. There are also some other E-reader sets, like Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and an upcoming Game & Watch set. For those who enjoy collecting cards, who like classic Nintendo games, or who just like fancy peripherals, these are great and fun to buy. Sold individually, the prices on these cards are a bit steep. … However, this package deal is a great buy, so long as you have a taste for them.

Customer Review: Blu Ray player and a gaming machine
The PS3 is a good console, and probably (in my opinion) the best one out there. The built in blu-ray player is an added bonus as the industry has now selected it over the HD-DVD format. The ps3 is also great for playing online, I connected it to my DLink wireless router in a matter of minutes. I can also view my photos from my computer on my TV (check my review Samsung 40″ LCD TV). As for games there are so many for the PS3 and it can play PS2 games too and plenty of new ones are coming out. The graphics on the PS3 are better than the xbox, especially if you buy a HDMI cable and a 1080p TV as well. The wireless controls use bluetooth technology which is better then having cables restricting your movement, you do need the cable to charge them first though. There is also the play-station network which you sign up for free, it lets you download free demos and wallpapers, or full games. I wanted to get a BluRay player and my son wanted a gaming machine, so we are both happy with the PS3.
Customer Review: Sony PlayStation 3 (60GB)
Product summary The good: Swanky design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to upscaling standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi and flash media reader; 60GB hard drive; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; free online gaming service; plays PS2 and PS1 games; backwards compatibility is hardware based. The bad: Compelling exclusive games are still few and far between; PlayStation Home and rumble controller not available until 2008; a USB port on the back would’ve been nice; no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren’t compatible; glossy black finish is a fingerprint magnet; online gaming, media, and commerce options not nearly as developed as Xbox Live. The bottom line: The high-end Sony PlayStation 3’s larger hard drive and ability to play PS2 games makes it a worthwhile alternative to the cheaper model–so long as you’re willing to wait several months for the more promising exclusive titles to hit store shelves. If backward compatibility is your top priority, this hard-to-find model may be worth the search

Gaelic Games Football (PS2) Customer Review: A Good Starting Point
I greatly enjoyed this game, a I think it is very underrated. It took me a while to get into, and I struggled to master the controls at first, but soon County Wexford were holding Sam aloft (If only).

I do understand some of the complaints, although considering this is the first in the series, and indeed the first Gaelic football Games ever, to my knowledge, so there was not even anything to use for reference, means that this is quite an achievement. I’m sure in the years to come the games will get much better.
Customer Review: Patronising
This game is a real insult to the GAA fans who thought that this would be a great game. On a wider scale, it's an insult to Irish people who will buy this game in droves. I can't believe that a well-respected Irish site gave this game four stars out of five, it's one of the worst games I've ever played, let alone the worst sports simulation on the Playstation 2.

The game is like something from the 1980s. I played one game and just couldn't believe it. I'm a big fan of pro evolution soccer, and was hoping that this would be along these lines. I know it's a first try, and a couple of the reviews here say that we should buy it so a better one comes along next time. I don't believe that. I think the GAA have taken us for a ride here.

It's a poor game on so many levels, and realistic stadiums does not compensate for it. I mean, who looks at that? You want to be so hooked on the gameplay that it doesn't matter!

In short, a patronising game that I wouldn't recommend to anyone except someone I really wanted to mess with.
