SONY PSP 1.50 FIRMWARE
Talladega Nights – The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (UMD Mini for PSP) The fastest man on four wheels, Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. A big, hairy American winning machine, Ricky has everything a dimwitted daredevil could want, a luxurious mansion, a smokin’ hot wife and all the fast food he can eat. But Ricky’s turbo-charged lifestyle hits an unexpected speed bump when he’s bested by flamboyant Euro-idiot Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen, TV’s “Da Ali G Show”) and reduced to a fear-ridden wreck. Losing his wife and job to best bud and fellow fool, Cal Naughton, Jr. (John C. Reilly), Ricky must kick some serious asphalt if he’s to get his career back on the track, beat Girard and reclaim his fame and fortune. ‘Cause as Ricky Bobby always says, IF YOU AIN’T FIRST, YOU’RE LAST!
Customer Review: Bah
I found this movie Cornie and stupid. The whole plot is very redneck to me. Perhaps I have the wrong sense of humor for this. It is definitely not for everyone. I like some of Ferrell’s other stuff. This one does not do much for me.

Customer Review: Good pony game
If you like ponies or horses, this game is for you. It has excellent graphics and is very realisic. I like the horses, they are very calm and gentle. The scenery is very pretty too. In this game, you can care for, ride and stroke your pony. Of course you can do many other things, but these are the main things. Its hard to get money in this game, but I suppose then it lasts longer. If you like action packed games, this isn’t really for you. Its an extremily calm sort of game, and doesnt require you to think much. I think the downside is that maybe its a bit depressing. The horses seem sad most of the time and you can’t realy do an awful lot. At least you can enter them in races though. ANyway, I’d say this is a general good game.
Customer Review: The BEST game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is really cool! You start off by buying a pony. You can decide if you want to buy a real breed or if you want to make your own one. It is posible to have three ponies at once. The trail rides are SOO real. The graphics are always good. Some people won’t like this game because you don’t get to steer the pony, but to be honest there are so many other things to do that you don’t really have time. You can take photos of animals and look for gates to unlock new trails. A must for all pony lovers!!!!!!!!
The greatest battle of the new football season is not between any real world club but between the virtual giants of FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer. Konami’s game has always been the favourite but last year FIFA closed the gap to such a degree that the title race has never been closer. This year’s FIFA uses a completely new game engine, for the first time built specifically for the next gen consoles. But improved graphics and animation are only the half of it, with just as much focus going on the artificial intelligence thanks to the new “35 point decision engine”. What this basically means is that every player on the pitch is fully aware of those around him and constantly thinking about tactics and position when not under your control.
Other changes include better modelled physics for taking a shot on goal, which take into account everything from air pressure to the angle of your foot. You’re also able to create your own special moves to replicate every possible trick from real life. There are also new game modes including Be A Pro which challenges you to play the role of a single player through a whole season or career. On top of this there are revamped online leagues to play a virtual season in the Premier League, Bundesliga, French League or Mexican 1st Division against real opponents. With 620 licensed teams, 30 offline leagues and 15,000 players as well FIFA might just have made enough new signings this year to put it over the top.

Customer Review: An excellent football game!!!
I have been a Fifa fan since i first played it in ‘95 on the Playstation and have not felt it neccessary to play PES. When i first purchased Fifa 2008 i have to admit, i found it a little frustrating. I would create a few chances from crosses but would constantly head / volley the ball over the goal. I was also annoyed that the game froze on numerous occasions. So much so that i took the game back and purchased PES 2008. What a mistake!!!!! Whilst Fifa should have not been released until the obvious glitches had been resolved PES should not have been released at all. I know this is a Fifa review and i will come to that later but i need to say something about PES. It is the most awful game i have ever played. Admitedly the gameplay in offline mode is quite good but the online ‘gameplay’ is just terrible and pretty much unplayable. Lets face it, online game play is what next gereration consoles are all about. Add to that the face that the replays are shocking and the fact that the game has the usual lack of licences makes PES the worse excuse for a football game ever. Konami should be ashamed of themselves. Now back to Fifa….. After hearing that a patch had been released for Fifa (and the fact it was ?35) i re-purchased it hopeing it would be a more enjoyable experience and i am happy to say it was / is. The gameplay is excellent. You can score amazing goals (but they are not easy). The licencing means you get players from all the lower leagues (which i love as a QPR fan). The replays are brilliant and the online mode works well (although i have only tried the quick match option). I also like the fact you can link your ps3 profile to your online easports profile and upload goals to your account although this is still in it’s beta stage. Overall, EA Sports could really have done with waiting a bit longer before releasing Fifa 2008 but now they seem to have sorted out the glitches this is a must have game!!!

Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? (Nintendo DS)
In a nutshell:
The portable phenomenon that has taken Japan by storm finally hits the UK. Part puzzle game, part self improvement tool this is the only game that’s both lots of fun and good for you – and that’s before you even start on Sudoku!
The lowdown:
Nothing about this game is ordinary, from the price to the way you hold the DS while playing it (vertically, as if you were reading a book). The basic idea is that you play through a series of puzzles each day, for about 10 minutes, and at the end of each session the “age” of your brain is calculated. The puzzles themselves range from simple maths questions to spot the difference, memorisation and comprehension. All of the answers are inputted either by drawing the answer on the touchscreen or speaking it into the DS’s in-built microphone. There’s also a multiplayer mode for up to 15 people where you can try and compete to record the youngest brain age.
Most exciting moment:
A brand new addition to the game, not included in the Japanese version, is a special DS version of Sudoku. This works great on the DS’s touch screen and is worth the already low price of admission on its own.
Since you ask:
A sister title to Brain Training, named Big Brain Academy, is due for release in July and offers to “weigh” your brain and improve specific skills such as memorisation and analysis. A direct sequel to Brain Training has also been released in Japan but is not yet scheduled for released in the UK.
The bottom line:
The only game that really is for the whole family – from kids to OAPs.

Customer Review: Addictive, accessible and great value
A very addictive experience and one that anybody who can read and count will enjoy. It’s less unique now then it was a year ago because of the glut of similar titles inspired by it’s success. But the original Brain Training still stands tall as one of the best games on the market today. Through short daily activities and personal performance statistics Brain Training soon has you hooked. As you improve you unlock new games which give more variety to play. The game really comes alive with 2 or more players. There’s no wifi multiplayer, but players have their own files in the game which automatically compares performance stats and pictures. Perfect for a competitive family! My only criticism is that you can get bored with the games after a month or so. But having said that, most full price games I’ve bought have only hooked me for about a month and loose a bit of sparkle after that so at the budget price that Brain Training retails for you can’t really loose. This is one of the only games that has instantly grabbed everyone I’ve have ever shown it to, right across the age range. Every family with a DS in the house should get a copy and this game is one of the reasons to own a DS in the first place.
